## Objectives
b) to perform an impact analysis at the item level to identify whether the item is a new item, a modification of an existing item, or an existing item with a modified environment; and in the case of one or more modifications, to analyse the implications of the identified modifications on functional safety

The reviewer has provided appraisal as required. The Impact Analysis has been assessed for overall completeness and stakeholder agreement has been observed.

## Guidance
Reviewer must provide appraisal here - Observation of overall completeness and that agreement between all stakeholders has been sought. The reviewer should be allowed to query any of the findings within the Impact Analysis should they feel a level of inadequacy or otherwise is present. Reviewer it to provide a statement as in achieving the overall goal of the Impact Analysis.

Criteria to regress the WP should the element be deemed as a failure:

1. **If element is deemed as a failure:**
   - Implementation of corrective actions in accordance with project LOP (Life cycle Plan)
   - Update of safety goals and requirements
   - Re-assessment of the impact on other system components
   - Document the failure and its implications in the impact analysis report

2. **In case of concession:**
   - Add action to project LOP
   - Close report after verification of implemented actions
   - Update risk assessment matrix with new risk levels
   - Inform all stakeholders of the accepted compromise
   - Monitor the impact of the concession over time

This review confirms that the impact analysis meets the requirements set forth in ISO 26262-2:2018, subsection b) for item-level impact analysis, identification of item types (new, modification, modified environment), and analysis of implications on functional safety.
